DINNER TONIGHT
The Dinner Tonight program was developed to provide busy families with quick, healthy, cost effective recipes that taste great. Not only does the Dinner Tonight program provide recipes, it also gives you weekly video demonstrations on cooking tips and techniques, nutrition topics, menu planning basics and information on healthy living.
BETTER LIVING FOR TEXANS
Better Living for Texans is a statewide nutrition education program for adults and kids who want to learn how to eat well and save money. You can make friends and have fun while you learn about eating healthy foods and saving money! To be a part of the Better Living for Texans program, email, call or drop by your local county Extension Office.
EXPANDED FOOD & NUTRITION EDUCATION PROGRAM
Since 1969, EFNEP has worked in local Texas communities providing food and nutrition education to vulnerable limited resource families and youth. Trained EFNEP educators teach basic nutrition, food safety, shopping on a budget, and food preparation skills to clients using hands-on activities and practical, easy-to-understand materials.
PLUGGED-IN TO NUTRITION
There is a critical need for evidence based nutrition information on the Internet. Responsible social media messages are: clear, current, and consistent with peer review science. Extension online learning opportunities offer another option in addition to traditional workshops and face to face methods of programming.
FOOD PROTECTION MANAGEMENT
The Food Protection Management Program prepares students for the ANSI-CFP Accredited Certified Professional Food Manager Examination (CPFM), as well as offers the Food Handlers certification accredited by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
